Owners of the W Ft. Lauderdale will be permitted to use their condo as a primary home or second home, or place it in the hotel’s rental program to generate revenue.

A leaseback program is available on a limited number of two-bedroom oceanfront units, which offers guaranteed rental payments totaling 8% of the net purchase price each year for two years. After the two-year period, owners would still be able to participate in the rental program and share in the revenue their unit generates but without the guarantee of 8% returns.

The rental program for W Residences is managed by Marriott International, which has merged with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide to become the largest hotel management company in the world, operating 30 brands and over 5,700 properties.

As part of the W Residences’ recent renovation, the 171 condos are newly refreshed. They have updated interiors designed by New-York based Meyer Davis and feature all the amenities of a luxury home.
