Spanning over 300-acres, the new mega-resort, Margaritaville Resort Orlando has two main components, the Margaritaville Hotel and Margaritaville Cottages.

The 184-room Margaritaville Hotel is already operating. It contains a spectacular lobby that holds 4,000 people and three restaurants. The Margaritaville Cottages, single family homes, are currently available for sale.

The cottages feature open floor-plan designs, ideal for entertaining. They come with a private balcony or terrace and all bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom. There are also gathering areas, brick paver lanais and storage available for play gear.

Construction on the cottages began in January 2019. All of the cottages are expected to be completed by 2021. Most of the resort’s amenities, including pools, restaurants, spa, fitness center and kids club are already open.

The cottages come in a wide array of floor plans and elevations with packages that promise lush tropical landscaping, Ethan Allen-designed furniture and more. The largest cottages, those with six, seven and eight bedrooms, come with their own pool and spa. They back up to a picturesque, 45-acre lagoon.

Cottage owners have the option of placing their home in the rental program to generate revenue when they’re not using it, helping to offset the costs of ownership. The onsite property management company handles everything from marketing to managing it.

The single-family cottages range from two to eight bedrooms, and from 1,131 sq. ft. to 4,689 sq. ft. Prices start at $353,794 and go up to $951,950, with plenty of options in between. A variety of furniture packages are available but are not included in these prices.
