2000 Ocean
Oceanfront Condos
Hallandale Beach, FL
October 21, 2017
Joel Greene here from Condo Hotel Center.
As you may know, I live in Pembroke Pines, a suburb of Miami. One of the peculiar things about living in South Florida is that eventually everyone you’ve ever known, no matter how casually, will come to visit.
I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve answered my phone and heard, “Hey Joel, remember me? I’m in Miami for the week. Let’s get together.” So I’m always looking for fun, interesting places to take guests.
One such place is The Village at Gulfstream. In fact, I recently went there with an old middle school friend who was visiting from Texas, and she loved it. It’s an open-air development with outdoor cafes, fine dining restaurants, upscale shops, bustling nightlife, a casino and horse racing.
If all of that sounds good to you, then you’ll want to hear about today’s featured property, which is just up the road from Gulfstream.
2000 Ocean
Proudly positioned on the beach closer to the ocean than any of its neighbors, 2000 Ocean was conceived as a prestigious private residence that would be bathed with sunlight from sunrise to sunset.
A 40-story glass tower, it will have just 64 condos, all offering exquisite views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.
Amazing Amenities
- 2 pools: 1 overlooking the ocean, 1 overlooking the Intracoastal
- Private pool cabanas, lounges and outdoor dining

Oversized Condos
The condos at 2000 Ocean will be immense! They range from three to five bedrooms and from 2,913 sq. ft. to 5,832 sq. ft. That means even the smallest condo is larger than most single-family houses.
The residences will have 10-foot ceilings and private elevator landings. They’ll offer seamless indoor/outdoor experiences with water views through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass walls and both east- and west-facing terraces.
The condos will be delivered fully finished, furniture-ready with:
- Monterrey marble flooring throughout including terraces
- Smart Home features
- Walk-in closets
- All stone custom Minotti Cucine kitchens
- Fully integrated Gaggenau appliances
- Custom Minotti Cucine full-slab stone master bath
- Agape floating bathtubs with Intracoastal Waterway view in master bath
- Dornbracht and Duravit bathroom fixtures and accessories in all bathrooms
A Great Location
Located in between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach is best known for its beautiful beaches. But that’s not all it has to offer.
It’s just minutes away from world-class dining and shopping at Bal Harbour Shoppes, Aventura and Las Olas Boulevard.
The Village at Gulfstream, which I mentioned earlier, has numerous restaurants, shops, entertainment, casinos and horse racing.
The location of 2000 Ocean is also close to museums, theaters, the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades, where the huge cruise ships dock.
Construction Status & Pricing
Groundbreaking on 2000 Ocean is expected to take place in February 2018. Construction of the development should conclude by summer 2020.
Prices for the condos start at $2,800,000 for the three-bedroom, three-bath units and go up to $9,000,000+ for the five-bedroom, five-bath units.
Units can be reserved now with a 10% deposit. Another 10% is due at contract in approximately 45 days.

Visiting South Florida
As I mentioned earlier, when you live in South Florida, you’re bound to get plenty of visitors, especially during the winter months. I always enjoy being able to share our beautiful beaches, great restaurants and fabulous shopping with guests.
And at the end of a visit, I can’t help but feel lucky that while my guests are headed back to bleary winter days with freezing temperatures, I’m the one who gets to stay here in paradise.
Again, if you’d like to know about today’s featured property, you can request the 2000 Ocean data sheet here. Or, if a different, perhaps more affordable condo in South Florida is more to your liking, just give me a call. I can tell you what’s on the market and provide you with all of the facts so you can make an informed decision.
Have a sunny day!
