Hollywood’s First Condo Hotel
Melia Costa Hollywood Beach Resort will be a condo-hotel resort, the first new project of its kind in the Hollywood market. It will incorporate a contemporary style with unique amenities, resort-style services, and a high-end retail shopping district.
Hollywood Beach lies between Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale. Melia Costa Hollywood will be located on world-famous A1A, also known as Ocean Drive, just a few steps from the beach.
Melia Costa Hollywood Beach Resort is a condo hotel and upscale retail shops.
It will consist of two six-story buildings containing the condo hotel residences and an open courtyard. An ideal second home, owners will be able to use their condo when they’d like and place it in the optional rental program when not there to earn revenue.
The condo hotel will have two mid-rise buildings and a courtyard in the middle.
All upkeep of the individual units and the property’s amenities will be handled by the rental management company making this a hassle-free vacation home.

Well-Appointed Condo-Hotel Suites
Because Melia Costa Hollywood will be a condo hotel, all suites will be delivered furnished and designer decorated. They’ll have fully-equipped kitchens featuring stainless steel appliances, European-style cabinetry, modern-style fixtures and faucets, and breakfast bars.
The condo hotel suites will have glass balconies with views of the ocean.
The master bathrooms will be spa-like with double sinks, European-style cabinetry, modern-style fixtures and faucets, oval soaking tubs and stand-alone showers.

A Desirable Location
Hollywood Beach is a village-like destination nestled between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. It features a one-of-a-kind oceanfront promenade called the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk (wider than your typical boardwalk, hence the name) that stretches nearly 2.5 miles along the Atlantic.
Named one of America’s Best Beach Boardwalks by “Travel & Leisure” magazine, this brick-paved thoroughfare is a haven for joggers and roller-bladers. It has dozens of seaside eateries along the way, all just steps from the sand.
Hollywood Beach has a 2.5 mile boardwalk that runs along the Atlantic.
The beach stretches for seven miles. There are also three oceanfront parks featuring playgrounds, interactive water play fountains and picnic pavilions.
Close by are restaurants, casinos, nightlife, a marina, and the Hollywood Beach Theatre, which offers free outdoor concerts. A trolley runs Wednesdays through Sundays, offering a nostalgic way to get to and from the best sites on the beach and downtown.

The developer of Melia Costa Hollywood is Moses Bensusan, CEO of Liberty Sites, LLC, a Canadian-based company. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience developing commercial and residential properties across Canada and the United States.

The Melia Brand
Costa Hollywood has teamed up with Melia Hotels & Resorts, a leading upscale hotel brand with 350 hotels in 40 countries, to operate the property.
Melia Hotels International was founded in 1956 in Spain and is one of the largest hotel companies in the world.
The Melia brand will help ensure high occupancy rates at Costa Hollywood.
Construction Well Underway
Before the first shovel of dirt had been turned over at Melia Costa Hollywood Beach Resort, I wrote about this property as a pre-construction investment opportunity. That was back in June 2013. Now construction is well underway and should be complete by summer 2016.
The Melia brand will help ensure high occupancy rates at Costa Hollywood.
Price & Availability
Melia Costa Hollywood will have a total of 304 condo hotel suites with 30 different floor plans to choose from. As you can see, this will not be your typical cookie-cutter condo resort.
The suites range from studios to two bedrooms, and 405 sq. ft. to 1,235 sq. ft. Prices range from $420,000 to $870,000. They can be reserved now with a 20% deposit with additional deposits required prior to completion.
