Sandlake Station Condominium & Shops
New Orlando Condos from $143,900
September 24, 2018
Joel Greene here from Condo Hotel Center.
One of my favorite things to do living here in South Florida is attend sporting events. Whether it’s the Miami Heat, Miami Marlins or the Miami Dolphins, I always enjoy the game and tailgating with friends.
On the Sunday before last, September 9, Jackie, my friend Adam and I were excited to attend the Titans-Dolphins game. It was supposed to kick off at 1 p.m. and end around 4 p.m. Instead, because of weather delays, it went down as the longest game in NFL history. In all, it took 7 hours and 8 minutes!
Adam and I didn’t mind. But I may have trouble persuading Jackie to join us again for future games, especially if there are any storms in the forecast.
One thing that’s nice about living in Florida is that you know the storm will pass and the sun will be shining again soon. So let me move on to today’s featured property, which is a mixed-use development located in Orlando, Florida.
Sandlake Station Condominium and Shops will include 237 residences.
Condos, Townhomes and Shops
Sandlake Station Condominium and Shops is a to-be-built, planned community that will encompass three, four-story residential buildings with a total of 196 condos and 41 townhouses on 18 acres. The property will also include a variety of shops and restaurants.
Amenities will include:
- Large swimming pool and sun deck
- Clubhouse with terrace, ideal for any type of occasion
- Security with electronically controlled access and cameras
- Fully equipped fitness center
The condos and townhomes at Sandlake Station will feature wood floors in social areas and carpet in bedrooms. The bedrooms will have spacious walk-in closets. The kitchens will be open with natural granite countertops, contemporary cabinetry and stainless steel appliances.
A Great Location
Orlando is a world-class city that attracts millions of visitors each year, and with good reason. There’s so much to see and do, not to mention abundant sunshine year-round.
Sandlake Station has a prime location that is convenient to all that Orlando has to offer, including theme parks, attractions, restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues.
- Florida Mall with 250 stores & restaurants – 5 minutes
- Downtown Orlando – 7 minutes
- Orlando International Airport – 7 minutes
- Universal Studios theme parks – 15 minutes
- Disney World theme parks – 20 minutes
Located within walking distance of the residences will be Sandlake Road Station, a SunRail station (commuter rail line) that offers easy access to downtown Orlando, Orlando International Airport and many other destinations in central Florida.
Coming soon, SunRail will connect with Brightline, a $2.5 billion project that will connect Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach to Orlando with trains traveling at 125 miles per hour. When complete, the trip from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale will take less than 30 minutes, from Miami to West Palm Beach under 60 minutes, and from Miami to Orlando about three hours.
Lake Nona Medical City
With its convenient, central location, Sandlake Station is less than 20 minutes from Lake Nona Medical City, a global destination for medical innovation currently under development. A children’s hospital and a VA hospital are already open.
When complete, Lake Nona will be a 650-acre “city” of health and biological science centers, including some of the nation’s leading hospitals, universities, research institutions, and health and life sciences companies.
If you are considering a purchase for investment purposes, I’m mentioning the Lake Nona Medical City because with its proximity, Sandlake Station is likely to attract people who are employed there.
Lake Nona is expected to create up to 30,000 jobs and have a $7.6 billion impact on the local economy over the next decade.
Affordable Pricing
Construction on Sandlake Station Condominium & Shops has just begun and is expected to be complete by spring 2020.
Choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, ranging in size from 754 sq. ft. to 1,143 sq. ft. Pre-construction prices range from $143,900 to $177,900.
You also have the option of a two-story townhome with three bedrooms, a terrace and garage, which is 1,500 sq. ft. and priced at $260,000.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
The Dolphins vs. Titans game I mentioned at the beginning moved like a tortoise. But Jakeem Grant didn’t. Kenny Stills didn’t. Reshad Jones didn’t. So for the 65,184 fans who had dwindled to maybe 5,000 by the end — including Adam, Jackie and me — it was a fun game.
We reveled in being a part of history and the 27-20 Miami victory over Tennessee, proving to Dolphin fans that good things come to those who wait.
Again, if you could be interested in a primary or investment home in Orlando, consider Sandlake Station. I know I just said “good things come to those who wait,” but in this case, prices are at early, pre-construction levels so don’t wait too long.

Enjoy your day.
